Ambitious, helpful, loving, creative, and sociable are the characteristics that best describe me.
My name is Patricia ter Koolt, and besides being a proud mother of a daughter, I’m also the proud owner of my business, “Make-up & Hair Artist Patricia,” whose studio is located in Leidschendam.
From a young age, I had an affinity for beauty, so it was no surprise that I started a beautician training program at a young age, supplemented by makeup artistry with Elite Models.
After a few years, I enrolled at the Dutch Hairdressing Academy, followed by the Kinky Academy in Rotterdam, to learn everything about hairdressing, ensuring a strong combination with my makeup skills.
There was no shortage of training, and as soon as I started developing my own style, I knew for sure… This was my future. So, in 2016, I launched my own business, “Make-up & Hair Artist Patricia.”
I’ve managed to professionalize my passion and therefore continue to participate in various training courses within the beauty industry, such as those from Estée Lauder, Laura Mercier, Dior, and Bobbi Brown.
Although I’ve been styling makeup and hair for many brides for years, I’ve also been a certified bridal stylist since 2021. I completed my training at the Baron Academy, the training institute for professional bridal styling, and then specialized further in bridal makeup with Jasmijn Iris.
Besides my work as a bridal stylist, mobile hairdresser, and makeup artist, I also enjoy working on film projects where the makeup and hair can be a little more extreme.
I’ve had the pleasure of styling hair and makeup for several film projects, such as “Black Moon,” “Gina,” “Reset,” and “The Fragmented Whole.” I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with French photographers/videographers Yvon Teule and Isshogai Daimo, among others. Their video “Witness a Moment in Life” was one of the most highly nominated videos on Fashion TV Paris. And I’m proud to have also brought joy to Dutch photographers, models, actors, and fashion designers with my skills.
